Beautiful set of silver art rounds depicting lovely ladies, each with one of the 12 animals of the Chinese or Asian New Year (sometimes referred to as the Asian Zodiac) as their pet. All of the coins share a common reverse. These coins are rendered in pure. 999 fine silver by a US mint using American silver. They are struck in a proof / ultra cameo finish that enhances the beauty of the artwork and were carefully handled to avoid bag marks, scratches or fingerprints. They are each encased in a clear acrylic capsule into which they were put with gloved hands directly from the mint. Any specks or spots that can be seen in the photos are on the outside of the capsule, not on the coin. The beauty of the artwork, as well as the deep mirrored fields of these coins, can be seen in the close-up photos. You will receive a collection identical to the one shown that is something you can truly be proud to own and show off. Note: While I have a limited number of these sets, I also have a very limited few of these collections available in a beautiful rosewood display / storage box. Be cautious, however, and know that these medals are also minted in clad or silver plate (a thin layer of silver over base metal), so one that might seem to be offered at a real bargain price may not be solid silver.
