The obverse designed by Martin Jennings features the official coin effigy of His Majesty King Charles III surrounded by the inscriptions "CHARLES III", "D-G-REX-F-D", "2 POUNDS" and "2024". The reverse design, created by award-winning illustrator Marie-Alice Harel depicts a modern interpretation of Britannia standing poised against an oncoming wave, her plumed helmet merging with the sea. Also included on the reverse are the inscriptions "BRITANNIA 2024" and "1OZ 999 FINE SILVER". It has been certified PF70 Ultra Cameo Early Releases by NGC!
