2021-W American Silver Eagle Proof Certified NGC PF70 Ultra Cameo - First Day of Issue - NGC Heraldic Eagle Label 2021 marks the 35th Anniversary of the American Eagle Coin Program. The United States Mint will unveil new reverse (tails) designs for bullion and collectible versions of American Eagle Gold and Silver Coins.
The new designs (Type 2 Reverse) will begin appearing on these coins in midyear 2021. This listing is for the Type 1 Reverse which remains unchanged from prior years. American Eagle Silver Proof Coins are collector versions of the official United States bullion coins and are only available in the one ounce size. American Eagle Silver Proof Coins from 1986 to 1992 were minted at the United States Mint at San Francisco bearing the "S" mint mark, 1993 to 2000 were minted at the United States Mint at Philadelphia bearing the "P" mint mark and 2001 to date minted at the United States Mint at West Point bearing the "W" mintmark.Coin Designs Obverse: Adolph A.
